Going to Bernie's is a time-honored tradition around OSU's campus. It has been on campus since 1975. Housed in adjoining rooms, Bernie's is now half deli with loaded sandwiches and homemade soups, and half bar and live music venue. The deli has a large menu that includes vegetarian choices and some healthy sides like hummus, and for those of us who enjoy some grease, there is plenty of that, as well. The kitchen generally closes around dinner time, just as the bands prepare to go on, and the bar side begins to fill.
