  • A neighborhood haunt where you can get a steak and a beer, the Knotty Pine has been around since 1935, though it was renovated and remodeled a few years ago. The menu features American fare such as steak, seafood, burgers and sandwiches. During the day, the upscale yet casual bar is quiet with families and couples, but at night it's bustling with drinking friends, especially during happy hour when the drinks flow and the appetizers abound. When it's warm, the makeshift outdoor patio provides a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere to eat up, drink up and catch up.
