The Lotus Leaf, a relatively new Asian fusion restaurant on the west side of Columbus, is known for its chicken and beef-based varieties of pho, a traditional Vietnamese rice-noodle soup made with beef stock broth that simmers for 24 hours before the main ingredients are added. Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines are represented on Lotus Leaf's eclectic menu. Dishes range from Szechuan beef to Singapore rice noodles and include a little bit of everything in between. This family-owned restaurant is casual and intimate, making it a cozy place for a romantic meal. The Lotus Leaf also offers carry out and is one of the few places on the west side of town serving large portions of made-to-order Vietnamese and Asian dishes for reasonable prices.
