  • Started in Columbus, Max and Erma's is now a regional favorite. Best known for its hamburgers, which come in two sizes (Max, the 10-ounce, or Erma, the 6-ounce), the place also serves plenty of chicken, salads, steaks and desserts. As a side note, any man who orders an "Erma" burger should do so in shame and check his manhood at the door on the way out. Sack up, get the Max burger and enjoy every last bite. Hot cookies are a fantastic way to end your meal, but make sure you order them before your meal comes so that you're not left waiting 10 minutes for your dessert, all the while wondering if a large, blue monster with first-grade grammar has wreaked havoc on the kitchen.
