  • Yep, Bar 23's the name and cocktails are its game. Although the bar offers an impressive list of contemporary American dishes, including paninis, pizzas, sandwiches and wraps, its focus is on Short North nightlife. The intimate, upscale bar has an outdoor patio and an upscale, trendy interior. It offers imported and domestic beer, a full bar and wine, but its specialty is unique and sweet-tasting martinis such as the Pixytini, complete with a pixy stick rim; the candy martini, which is garnished with a dum-dum sucker; the Pop Rocks martini; and the 23 Cosmo, made with lime-aid. Bar 23 typically attracts young professionals who meet there for after-dinner drinks with friends, or are looking to wind down with a drink after work.
